 MC Cunningham and AssociatesGeorgia Gwinnett College Library

Ms. Cunningham served as LEED Administrator for this LEED Gold Certified project. The fastest growing campus in the Georgia Board of Regents University System, Georgia Gwinnett College has the need for a new 90,883 GSF, $24M library to be constructed in the heart of the campus on a quadrangle opposite the Administration Building. The new 95,000 SF, $19.8 M library to be constructed in the heart of the campus on a quadrangle opposite the Administration Building. The Library building secured a LEED Gold award, making Georgia Gwinnett College Library the first academic library in the State of Georgia to achieve such a status.

 

MC Cunningham and AssociatesRoswell North – Elementary School

Ms. Cunningham served as LEED AP to the new 25,000 GSF Addition and the Interior renovation of over 75% of the existing building that serves local students from kindergarten through fifth grade. The design elements such as the orientation of the new

Classroom windows were to permit daylighting throughout the school daylights and views through windows, especially those including elements from nature, stimulate the well-being and productivity of students. The school has received numerous awards and achievements both regionally and national, including the Platinum Award from the Governor’s Office for Student Achievement for Greatest Gain for

Meeting and Exceeding Standard, the 2008Model PTA Award and Made Adequate Yearly Progress for the 2008-09 school year

Stonecrest Branch Library

Ms. Cunningham served as LEED Coordinator on this $5M, 25,000-SF area library which will provide an enhanced level of service to walk-in customers, as well as provide reference and administrative support to smaller neighboring branches in southeast DeKalb County. The project has a goal of being LEED Certified.

Stonecrest Branch Library

Ms. Cunningham served as LEED Coordinator on this 25,000-SF area library that will provide an enhanced level of service to walk-in customers, as compared to other branch libraries, and will provide reference and administrative support to smaller neighboring branches in east central DeKalb County. Tucker- Reid H. Cofer Library is one of the largest replacement libraries in the DeKalb County and is the First Library Bond Project in DeKalb County to receive  LEED Certification at any level (June 2012).
